Blackout
just your usual nerdy brotha
That itself made it harder for whites but when you add the fact that no matter how tough the job market is for whites it will be 2x as tough for blacks it makes my guess still likely to be trueJob market is rough, though.
The huge influx of college grads the past 10 years is starting to catch up with the economy. And non-STEM graduates are in the worst shape. Because at least a STEM degree can be parlayed into a Masters/Doctorate, so you can get an industry job.
A lot of students are taking clerical, retail, administrative, and government jobs that barely require a high school degree. New York times ran a story about a job for a mail clerk that required a bachelor's degree.
I think the story in 5 or 10 years will be people are graduating with a bachelor's degree but settling for an entry level position at Sensormatic.
Not sure what this guy did in college, but if you get a degree in a field that is not hot, you should be on your grind with internships and part-time work in your field.
Never talk as if we are treated the same as whites by white employers because it will be incorrect. We always have added difficulty. Never forget that
