Let me break it down... From economics major standpoint.
People are working longer. The aftermath of the latest recession have people shaking in their boots and working harder than before.
Surplus of labor across all skills so that drove wages down or stabilized them while prices for goods increase (stagflation).
Technological advances destroyed a lot of jobs. My theory is America is moving towards a point of efficiency that most people won't need to work to operate the country.
The credit system has to be reset to zero because it lost it is purpose of providing capital to a public without resources.

yeah bros are already up on the divide and conquer tactics with propping up bw in professional positions while creating an additional hurdle for males but i dont want to fall in that divisive trap so ill let them do them...theres not really women in my industry anyway fortunately to compete with. but we already know 1. blacks have to be alot more qualified for the same job 2. theres hiring discrimination off the bat just looking at an applicants name 3. it's all about network and connections where blacks are at a disadvantage. the main time blacks are really getting hired is when theres a government requirement in order to get a contract or something like that. AA definitely doesnt benefit black guys the way you think. otherwise
id just say make sure to try to go into an industry where your skills are very specialized and move to a top 5 job market. it's sad though because k-12 emphasizes do what you love to kids when employers specifically want a STEM skillset and the U.S. educational system is just understanding this concept when other countries curriculum is tailored for it. you either do an applied curriculum for the job you want or go into the trades. the school system in the country is doing people a disservice trying to create the well rounded student with all these extra curriculurs, humanities, etc. at the same time everyone isn't meant for STEM so why are all other departments at universities even open if theyre not ensuring skills leading to gainful employment? At the end of the day university is a business just like anything else
