The only thing I can say is.......DON'T GO DOWN THAT PATH.... There is no escape from what waits for you on the other side. Endure what you have to on this side of life. Sometimes it's what you are doing yourself that is causing problems. Sometimes it's outside influences. Trust in God and His Son (Yeshua).....There will be better days, but if you take your own life by your own hands, what is that really saying? You disobeyed the first of the ten commandments from God...."You shall have no other God's before me".....You've made yourself a God by thinking you have the ability to chose how your life should end....You will find that you'll still have to stand in front of God and answer for everything anyway. You also break the commandment "You shall not murder" by murdering yourself, God's creation....Some of you may say Yeshua died for it all...But think about that for a minute. The Lord tells you to repent (metanoia) which means to "change your mind" about what you are doing. You can't do that after you've killed yourself. Your ability to choose has ended. You've set your fate in stone.

Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.”

Usually it's just ourselves keeping us from being happy. u just have to realize u control your own destiny
In my opinion, most of us don't really control our destinies. The ceiling is capped (at different levels) from birth for a lot of us. What are the odds that a Black child born today to a West Baltimore mother makes it to even a mid-level office job? Not very high.

I guess what I mean is that it's up to us to make ourselves as happy as possible. When we start to see everything as impossible, that depression hole gets deeper. I remember sitting in my room on Saturday nights, just down af. And I didn't even know why. I just had no passion, no positive tboughts, no motivation. Just in a rut like life ain't shyt. Then I realized it was all on me. Didn't want to feel that way any longer especially since people were starting to notice. I knew I had to just kick that shyt. I know it's different for everyone. But I was tired of that shyt.

Working in a office is NOT a good thing for black people. The corporate environment is emotionally stifling and kills creativity. Once you realize your ideas will be used to benefit a boardroom full of whites, you quickly stop trying and do enough to get by (if you're smart). Yes the money, may be good but overall it sucks. People need to stop making that the "ceiling".

I agree with you. I've said on here before that I'd never work in an office setting and have to deal with all the office politics, 'cism, etc. People just make the ceiling because it's one the most achievable positions career wise while still paying an adequate wage. I can't imagine working in a office filled with White people. :francis:

what is really the point of suicide, if you are already going to die ?

whether you believe in God or do not. Death will happen regardless.

So Consider this..
The real choice is not about whether you should die by your own hand. .. it's REALLY about how you should live.

Suicide might really be the point when you were going to die anyway but you are given a choice to choose life.

You didn't have a choice to be brought to life ..yet you were.. this alone proves there are "forces" at work that have control over events in your life

Bad things were going to happen in your life .. you couldn't have prevented it .

the truth is you cannot escape pain as it is apart of life. Your mother felt pain to give birth to you. .. but it passed.

Pain is not the only thing you will feel in life no matter how deep the hurt. You can find joy.. you will still smile and in that is the strength to unburden your soul

Choosing to die because of pain does not provide escape from it but the exact opposite.

You died.. with it.
.. by your side and clutched it eternally.

Your soul never learns how to be free because you didn't live long enough to learn how and that pain was the only thing that mattered to you in the end.

If you choose life and fight through the pain then you'll come across reasons to smile and live... and this will be what you hold on to when you eventually die.

as such..you will have found freedom in both Life and Death

....For those who have ears..

Yeah it took me a while to realize but my depression was always tied to work. It's not that I'm lazy but it was just generally not fulfilling. I remember I walked out of a job...just went to lunch and didn't come back and it was the best I had felt in months.

I work in a small office now with about 6 people, but it's still bullshyt. You don't get to have the type of conversations or create the same connections you would if you worked with people of your own race. You're constantly have to watch what you say and you're paid lower off the break no matter how smart you are.

Definitely something I'm trying to transition out of. I want my time and effort to benefit me.
