that no energy day at the gym or you wanna put in some work on the treadmill but your legs are gone:snoop:

-I like hitting the gym before work but at times when I hit it after the job it can be hit or miss depending on how stressful the day at work went. The days off from work are always good

Sometimes it's good just to leave and regroup the next day. I've done it many times. It sucks, but I get more depressed if I complete a half-a$$ workout. Feels like totally wasted time.

Did you eat beforehand? Have your music ready? To get re-inspired, I usually remind myself of my goal by either looking at my 'before' pics or pics of physiques I admire.

Yeah, that happened to me a couple weeks ago. I had eaten maybe a couple hours before, and I just felt real sluggish in the gym. I try to eat my first meal (IF'ing) around three hours before, but this time I was pressed and wound up eating a heavier and dirtier meal than usual. Workout sucked.

It happens to everyone. I noticed when I go right after work I have much better work out. Those I just don't have it days happen when I sit around for a while and do nothing.

Just tell yourself that no matter what happens you won't regret the workout after you are done, and drag yourself to the gym.

Even on the shyttier days, I figure having a less than inspired workout is better than missing it altogether.

I always got my tunes on me when I'm working out, its torture without it. Its just a once in a while thing when the energy isn't there

Yeah, I just do this or pushups/dips/pull ups when i'm not feeling it. if i'm not mentally there then my effort just goes to the bushes.

Sometimes you just gotta say fukk it... not worth the injury and missing one workout won't kill you

I take 1 week off every month to reset + give my joints a rest. Works wonders

Does this work out pretty well for you? I've been going really hard for the past few months bulking (3 hard days/week) and I've put on close to 20 lean, solid lbs. Been making great strength and size gains but my elbow's been killing me. :sadbron:

I've been debating taking a few days or a week off to recover everything but I kind of fear losing my gains. I've taken a week off before in college and it actually worked out pretty well but I wasn't bulking then. Maybe I'll take this week off. :manny:
