I think it was the combination of the music, lights and dancing that led too the randomness.

It definitely further solidify how different Caleb and Nathans approach was, if that wasn't clear from their multiple convos.

Im going to rematch it to see if I missed anything.

should could've picked a bigger ass and thicker thighs/hips to use when she put on her new body. As far as the movie goes. I knew something was up when it was shown that Ava caused the first power outage. The lock down wasn't meant to keep people from breaking in, it was meant to keep people from breaking out. Furthermore, the final test was about one of the most fundamental elements of all living things. Freedom. Duke pushed the boundaries and nailed it but of course it came at a price. nikkas want to be free.

Just came back from it. I liked it a lot but I'm not sure if I would call it great. Garland has a lot to pick up as a director because outside of the outstanding design (Ava's in particular, the entire laboratory another) I thought the movie wasn't always shot efficiently. Garland shows his strengths in his roots though, because although not without fault the writing is so goddamn good. Minimal exposition, captivating and strong dialogues, layered subtext, this is the kind of stuff I wish I could write. And of course there's the acting, with Viskander dropping one of the most fascinating performances I've seen in a while. Even if I wish there was a more gifted hand present to lift the movie's direction up, it remains a movie that deserves your attention.

What was your exact problems with the shots?
It was shot lovely IMO.

It's one of the themes of the movie.

Attraction is very powerful and makes fools out of smart people all the TIme.
