Hard caps depress salaries. The NBA's gonna eventually want NFL style caps because the NBA is gonna hate when the offseason comes and there's nothing to talk about

Not for stars. NFL contracts for big time players steady rising, even when the cap wasn't. If the NBA wants an NFL style cap they would have to get rid of guaranteed contracts AND max salaries.

If LeBron's salary is super high, great, but how will you surround him especially if you pay him what he's actually worth? Either the superstar makes a financial sacrifice or the team makes a competitive one
