Explain keyboard/mouse to me, brehs!

I understand this is considered the superior setup for accuracy. But how in the world can you STAND it!? I'm a 100% controller girl - if I can't curl under my blanket and play it, I can't be down with me. I know, however, that it means I've missed out on some great games. But I can't even seem to play k/m w/my wireless keyboard w/the touchpad on the side. Tried to do this w/Diablo III...tragic.

So how do you brehs w/the k/m setup sit when you play? Do you have to play at a table or is the keyboard on your knees, etc? Also, what gaming keyboard do you use, if any?

I play with mouse/kb on the couch. keyboard on my lap, and the mousepad on top of a thin hardcover book on my right side

Off topic, but funny you mention that. Cause I've tried playing in bed under the covers and it just don't work for me. Not like I need to look at the buttons either, shyt just don't work

KB/Mouse is the best for serious gaming. Just take the extra time to get your setup right

KB/M is so superior to a controller in FPS, it's not even funny. Get the highest DPI mouse possible (and a desk). It'll take about a week to get used to the very high DPI (the mouse moves very, very quickly), but you'll be so more accurate once you can control it effectively.

I'm actually going to make a thread talking about this. Been gaming on a controller for 25+ years and my first game with KB/M was Overwatch... going to debunk a lot of the bullshyt superiority complex that PC gamers have toward console brehs.

Not necessarily talking about anyone on the coli but when I see people on ign & in YouTube comments on their pic masterrace fanboy bullshyt all I can think of are basement dwellers with no life flexing their superiority complex the only way they can

That's why games like skyrim/fallout etc got HELLA sex & nude mods. nikkas got $2500 PC setups with NOOOO women in their life, why not mod your post-apocalyptic RPG to be filled with scandily clad Barbie lookalikes who will have sex with you with the click of a dialog option
