This was the first time he ever coasted or took a vacation. The west plays more of an up and down pace so he'd actually be able to coast more as he'd face less resistance defensively. Grit and grind squads wear you out more than super talented run and gun offensive squads. You are right top players in the west never get by with bad shooting nights . Singular talent is irrelevant to the discussion as singular talents do not a team that is gonna beat LeBron (or any other great at his level) make. If he's out west he more than likely has even better squads than he's had in the east and probably more rings since he'd be facing those east squads in the Finals.

He has had monster games, but Pierce was at the end of his line and George was never on that level. Rose had his one MVP season, but that was it. He was 22 at the time.

Alot of the teams in the West have 2 very good players on each team as most of the best players play out West. Are you telling me if you put Lebron on teams out West they wouldnt make the Finals regularly?
