MJ maximized his talent/skills and was ruthless and IMHO, Wilt didn't. Wilt was a freak of nature and his overall numbers are great but no way he should have just 2 championships. Wilt was 7'1'' averaging 50/25 and still let 6'10'' Bill Russell get the better of him most of the time. I believe if Wilt had MJ's drive/determination, Wilt would have won 10 championships at-least. I don't believe Wilt was ever considered the "leader" of those 2 championship teams he was on. West was the leader on that '71 Laker team and Billy Cunningham/Hal Greer were the leaders of that '67 Sixer team and we all know MJ was the undisputed leader of the Bulls...

breh, the Celtics were a better team and organization than any team Wilt was on, excluding that 68 Lakers team and that 68 win Sixers team.

Cunningham , Greer, and Wilt only played together for 3 seasons.

And Wilt was the leader of that '67 Sixers team. You are talking malarky breh.

And as a perimeter player still dominated in arguably the greatest big man era ever over the likes of:

Hakeem
Robinson
Shaq
Ewing (his bytch)
Barkley
Malone
Kemp

That adds to his GOAT status.

no breh, that was not the GOAT big man era. The GOAT big man era was actually Wilt's era. He played against more HOFers than anyone except Kareem.

Wilt's career was '59 - '73.

What other great big men from that era is missing? This list might triumph the 90's list, but the point still stands that Jordan was the first 2 guard ever (I'm not forgetting Jerry West) to dominate his peers (by numbers/rings) in a sport where teams historically build around centers.

And Jordan putting up 28 a game as a rookie after his jr yr at NC >>> Bron putting 20 a game after his sr yr at St. Vincent

Nikkas can't logically answer this thread. They just need to talk about championships and sh*t. MJ is a SG, those nikkas can't win sh*t by themselves. MJ is the King of marketing and excitement.

realize all of these names are HOFers, versus the list you put together.

Also you are missing Bob Lanier, Nate Thurmond, Dave Cowens, and Willis Reed. I wouldnt include Bob Petit myself.

well yeah, the 2guard position is historically the weakest position. Jordan changed the perception, but things are going back to where they were before him.

I am not knocking Mike, but Wilt and Kareem's numbers and influence standout just as much if not more.

If your team isn't winning games, whats the point?

Sorry, but you are just making things up

Wilt was the captain of the 1972 Lakers. It was his willingness to buy into Bill Sharman's new system (which a lot of veteran players had reservations about) that got the ball rolling.

As for the 1967 76ers ...

Billy Cunningham? A second-year sixth man? lol

Hal Greer? please

Bron dominates in an era filled with great wing players :barkley:

T-Mac (03- 06)
Kobe (all time great)
Wade (all time great)
Harden
Durant (future all time great)
Vince (03 - 06)

Not too mention, Bron was good enough to start on a NBA team as a 18 year old

:umad:

:mjpls: lolz like da nikkas in bold actually play defense, let alone have had battles w/ James in the postseason. Kobe and James' never have had any battles in the postseason, prolly never will. Wade's never stood in James' way in the postseason, and never will either, he's playin' w/ the nikka rite now! And Darko Milicic started when he was 18, we all kno how great that foo was :steviej:
