I got the name Tuckdog when I was running with a couple DLGBs in the late 90s (we used to call each other Hound (Blood Hound) before all this soowoopin stuff..), and I used to be very heavy on Kemetic history and thought Anubis was a cool avi to go with my name back in my BGOL days...

I posted on another popular message board years ago, but during the time I was creating a new user name there the BP oil spill happened in the gulf.

I heard a news broadcaster on CNN refer to the oil spilling into the Gulf of Mexico as raw Louisiana Crude.

I liked the expression and did think the name was raw even though it came from a horrible natural disaster, and I adopted the name Louisiana Crude on that message board.

I later shortened it to simply just Crude making it easier for people to @ mention me and so forth.
