I see what you did here. You totally flipped the debate. Its gone from whether or not Kobe is as good as we think he is, to now whether or not Kobe has flaws.
Every human being has flaws. Kobe is abrasive, selfish, psychotic, and definitely lets his emotions get the better of him when takes bad shots rather than making the right basketball play. Of course no coach is gonna come out and say that. But because he has flaws doesn't mean he isn't top 10 all time. That he hasn't been the best player of the 2000s. And that he isn't the closest we've seen to MJ.
However, the debate is whether Kobe is overrated. That he really isn't a top 10 all-time player. And that is the opinion I believe that has no merit because most respected coaches and players would universally say Kobe's been the best player in the league the last decade and the closest to Jordan. He's top 10 all-time and has a chance to be top 5 when his career is done.
