I guess you think Doc Rivers is still awestruck by Kobe's blistering 40% shooting in those finals series, right? Fact is, you completely ignored the context of what Doc was saying.
No I got the context. He said that we don't appreciate Kobe's greatness enough because we always compare him to Jordan. Basically because he's so similar to Jordan, people always discount his accomplishments by saying "well he ain't better than Jordan" or "well Jordan did it better."
Maybe the reason Doc respects Kobe is because he actually is the guy who designs the gameplan to stop him. Maybe he knows how much focus/effort it takes for his entire team to keep him to those numbers. Maybe he knows how much they overload and help against Kobe. Its funny how you guys discount the opinion of men who have forgot more basketball than you'll ever know.
Maybe you should look beyond FG% and listen to guys who actually compete against the guy.

Kobe has a career FG percentage of 45.5%. How can you say he's between 38-45 when his career average is above the high point you've pegged him at. Plus he's only shot below 45% for 4 years out of his 17 year career (with lowest being 41% as a rookie).
brah its .5 percent above what i said

this article is the truth. I wish I had 4 aliases so I could 5 star this thread 5 times.

you had people who said Danny Granger was better than Kobe
