The simple fact of the matter is: more guns equals more deaths.

Every American should take the opportunity to travel to a country where gun laws are strict, aka most countries in the world. Do you have any idea what it's like to be able to walk around with almost zero fear of getting shot?

yeah, just an increased fear of getting stabbed. look, we have 300 million guns out on the streets. you cant close that box now. try to restrict guns and only criminals and law enforcement will have them.

if anything, black folks need to start hoarding guns and ammo like these cacs.

its extreme paranoia on behalf of whites, but that's where we're at right now. i also have a passport, so you can stop pigeon holing me as someone unfamiliar with the outside world.

point is, guns in the US arent going anywhere. so its best for blacks to strap up like everyone else. especially considering our history in this country and our small population.

2nd Amendment, brehs. I'm not big on guns myself, but the constitution's importance cannot be underscored when it comes to the gun issue. If you can just arbitrarily disregard the 2nd Amendment, how do you pick and choose which Amendments should be upheld and which ones shouldn't? It's a slippery slope :manny:
Why disregard it? Can't it just be amended with some changes?

No, it would be foolish to amend the Bill of Rights. Like I said, who is to pick and choose what should be amended? This week it's guns, what's next? Due Process? Freedom of speech? Prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures? Like I said, I'm not big on guns myself, but it's just a slippery slope

not pigeon holing you in particular breh, just alot of people who haven't had the opportunity to travel.
Change starts from somewhere it's better to do it slowly than abruptly, tbh.

So basically your precious bill of rights is ironclad? Never up for debate on whether outdated concepts should be overhauled for the good of mankind? Can a committee of people, chosen by the people, not seek to alter these rights in a way that the vast majority will embrace? Or is that too difficult?

I'm not against guns. But I am fully for gun control.

Ban assault rifles, stricter control on hand guns, and better control on rifles and shotguns would make a big difference

Did you know that both of those are legal in Canada? Yet there isn't a huge gun problem like in the USA?

No reason, why the U.S. Can't adopt a similar gun control policy as canada. Canada didn't ban guns....just better gun control

thats another problem. if you could make all 300+ million guns disappear in the US. guns would still flood in from canada and mexico.

Flood in from Canada? Lmao

Automatic weapons are banned Canada. At most semi automatic. And there are limits to the amount of ammo that a magazine can actually hold.

Plus even with guns being legal in Canada there isn't nearly close to the amount of problems that 'murica has

It's just too damn easy to get a gun in the states. In Canada you at least have to take a gun safety course. Then apply for a license from the RCMP(national police) just to buy one.

Again, you're not seeing the big picture. IF THEY CAN AMEND THE 2ND AMENDMENT, WHAT'S TO STOP THEM FROM AMENDING ANY OF THE OTHER ONES IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS? The people who run the govt. are big picture thinkers (or at least they should be), YOU'RE just missing the forest for the trees :manny:

fair enough, but if there were no guns in the US. i still believe we'd see guns flowing in from our neighboring countries.

Of course, just like the illegal guns in Canada......coming from the states.

But again, I'm not saying banning guns is the answer....just better gun control
