You talked about sexual assault as why you think Toxic masculinity is worse, though a very minute number of men have actually participated in that. I mentioned child abuse, which is in my opinion a far more insidious problem since those future abuses come mainly from the children who were abused.

So all through this thread, you have pawned off in one way or another responsibility on only Black men, while also only giving the benefit of the doubt to Black women. Even the original post which was in response to a negative assertion made about Black men, had you run in and attack the poster who exposed the statement instead of the negative statement made about Black men in the Black community.

Also, I see you resorted to talking about sexual assaults when I mentioned abuse of children. The vast majority of child abuse cases are perpetrated by women. What do you think happens to those abused children when they grow up? You have heard of "The Cycle of Abuse", right?

So I ask again, considering who is the main perpetraitor of child abuse, child fatalities, which one is worse?

I'm not equipped to tackle this now (I was responding on my phone while waiting at a food truck, so there was no deliberate attempt to pivot).

I do remember that the stats for child abuse (as well as rape) don't really hold as consistently in other countries because there's a difference in how we define child abuse in this country versus others being more specific. I'll have to find my source for that.

EDIT: For instance, Germany reports that 75-90% of child abuse perpetrators are men or male adolescents, while only 10-25% of perpetrators are women or female adolescents.

In Mexico, a study showed that 79.7% of reported child abuse perpetrators were male, while just 2.1% were female.

What's the reason for these wildly different results?

You're also ignoring the fact that females are far more often the victims of child abuse (and sexual abuse in general) than males.

(Just as an example of how statistics can be skewed, countries like the Netherlands report WAY more rapes than the US, but it's because their definition of what constitutes "rape" is broader than ours; rapes occur at similar rates even though the stats show higher reported instances.
