A lot of you people don't understand lines, punchlines or lyrics properly. Papoose does have some bad lines, but some of the lines you people posting also NOTHING wrong with and are good. It's also CONTEXT, it's not just the incredibleness of the line, but how it goes with the flow, if it sounds unnatural or fitting, not every line is intended to be mind blowing, it's embarrassing how little some of you know about lyrics, cause you can't write no lyrics, ain't written no albums, it ain't easy, it's a complex thing.

For one this thread is jokes. Two, most of us know plenty about lyrics and papoose is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. He can rap, but he has awful moments too. Third, he is nowhere near the caliber Jay Z is as a total emcee. Fourth, you think K-Rino is top 5 emcee, if I remember right. That says a lot about your ear. Some of you guys forget that music is supposed to move you in someway. This dude Pap is not that enjoyable to listen to.

Says I am an expert with immaculate taste when it comes to Hip Hop and value Hip Hop as an artform and culture, not just materialistic dumb shyt like a mindless following sheep/drone and that my priority is pure and simply the MUSIC. Not the sales, not nothing else, and I cannot be fooled,I judge off music and that alone. We can't have a real debate about K Rino because most people don't know his work on here, BUT the ones that do rate him HIGHLY, he was in several of the top 20 OF ALL TIME lists when that was done on here. Also he's rated very highly by esteemed artists such as Scarface, Z-Ro and many others. So I am far from the only one who rates him very highly. K-Rino's music is extremely moving and emotional and deep, now if K-Rino had said he's lyrically better than Jay Z, that shouldn't even be a discussion because he is. I haven't forgot anything, my favourite artist is Pac.. so I'm fully fully aware what music is supposed to do, he isn't the super super complex lyricist, neither is KRS-One who is my 2nd top artist. This indicated NO bias towards super lyrical MC's but an objective rational honest approach and opinion.

I am just going by the thread title, which is discussing lyrically...

I am not arguing that papoose is a GOAT, or that he has great albums or even great tapes...

but lyrically in 2014 papoose and jay-z are comparable, its not a crazy statement...
