From a guy that went through 2 super bowl losses, you NEVER get over it. Those Giants defeats still hurt deep down even though we've won't a few titles after. I can't imagine losing one like that. Blow a 25 point lead with under 3 minutes to go in the 3rd. U can basically kneel down every snap and still win the game.

Took me the whole off season to get over David Tyree's catch as much as I could. Granted, that had the added sting of 18-1. This has to be tough. Watching guys who get paid millions of dollars to call and run plays doing dumb shyt like snap the ball with 20 seconds on the play clock and calling pass after pass has to be infuriating.

Patriots would have needed to go possibly 80 yards for a touchdown, convert a 2 point conversion, get the onside kick AND drive down the field with no timeouts and little to no time left on the clock to kick a field goal just to get to overtime.

But knowing that loser ass franchise they prolly still would have allowed all that to happen.

Exactly lol. Imagine if Rowe had committed PI on the Jones catch and the refs failed to call it. Everybody in here would be stating matter-of-factly that if they had correctly thrown the flag the game would be over. "Just over four minutes at 22, no way the Falcons would have lost that game"

avoding watching any footage of the game has made the loss slightly easier to swallow it was probably the most embarrassing super bowl defeat ever but I think I have mellowed out over it finally
