Brand loyalty is pretty prevalent. Many people feel the need to rationalize their purchasing decisions and convince themselves and others that they made the best choice.

I've never understood the pride people seem to feel.

They didn't design that system.

They didn't get paid to market that system.

They don't work for a company remotely connected with that system or know anyone that made any contribution towards it.

They can't even go to a stadium every week where people support it together like a sports team.

Yet they ride for it like they're defending their Mom's honor.

All these armies of poor kids going out to battle online to defend the reputations of a couple of the richest tech companies in the world who literally couldn't give two shyts if their customers are even breathing tomorrow. It's not like they need anyone's help, ask for anyone's help or reward anyone for their help.

It's really bizarre.
