Have multiple children out of wedlock, shrug higher education, and make a lifelong multitude of bad decisions and then demand to get 15/hr brehs.

Simple fact. If you want to make more money equip yourself with a skill someone is willing to pay for.

This sense of entitlement in this country is beyond belief. I am deeply saddened that a lot of these protestors are young and make black. We are truly becoming an underclass. And its mainly because our unappreciation of higher learning and self pity.

what some of ya'll don't realize either, if you can make $35k a year pushing burgs, getting a job in the fast food industry will become more competitive. then we're back full circle. high school dropouts can't get a job.

No one is taking a 35k job flipping burgers over a grill vs 35k at a desk surfing the coli

We are truly becoming an underclass.

"becoming" :heh:

Yeah I've been recently, and it's definitely a plus for the patron, that's until there some malfunction or the shyt doesn't work. Also I like being able to tell the waiter or waitress how I precisely want something cooked or made, you really can't get that with the machines :yeshrug:

Yea but how long does it take you to flag down a waitress? How many times do they pass you over? Im sure malfunctions would happen but rarely as technology gets better.
have you seen the average mcdonalds consumer :mjpls:

ordering would take ten years.

They would benefit the most they know what a burger looks like they know the menu back and forth any dumb ass can click a picture of a burger they want.

i'm talking those people in no-man's land, who can't quite land that office job, but don't want to be flipping burgs. they may want to start flippin burgs instead of cleaning houses or offices if they can make $35k :ehh:

All jobs will be filled. Who cares who fills them. Maybe cleaners need to unionize.

assuming that were even true in every case (which it isn't)... if these people are willing to work hard and bust their ass who are you to say they don't deserve the right to make enough money to support themselves?

someone makin 15/hr workin 40 hours a week would clock in $600 a week, $2400 a month. after taxes they're probably takin home like $1800-$1900. hardly comfortable living in 2014. a one bedroom apt is gonna run you anywhere between 1000-1300 depending on the location. even a studio could run you like 700-900.

these aren't "lazy welfare recipients". these are hard working people. don't see why the american dream shouldn't be attainable for them. should a place to live and some expendable income only go to those willing to work more than 70 hours a week?

the fukk is this weirdo rambling about.. :mjlol:

heres a novel idea.. instead of wasting time telling me/us how other people should run their businesses.. why dont you take that time & energy to open a restaurant and pay people livable wages.. :ld:

I went to college. You just won't ever see me knocking down the lower class. If I had a billion dollar company, I'd pay my workers a livable wage. So what, you'd be worth 500 million instead of 2 billion. You'd inspire loyalty, a more pleasant work environment and more productivity and efficiency from people if you paid them better wages. Several highly visible companies already adopted this line of thinking so I don't know why you even asked that question.

I see you answered none of my questions though. A random nikka working warehouse at Walmart or Amazon is doing NOTHING different than what our grandfathers did in the factories. Difference is, our grandfathers got 40k for it and they get 7 bucks an hour despite the fact Walmart posts record profits and each of the Waltons are worth 5 to 10 billion a piece. When corporate greed completely torpedoes the middle class, let's see how you feel :mjpls:

is your answer everyone should unionize?

If the governments don't want to hold corporations accountable? That or we go to a social capitalist system because right now, only corporations are winning.

i'm on board with this. i was actually talking about this yesterday, someone told me that Jim Irsay's $500k fine was the equivalent of like $13 to someone who makes $45k a year.
