I remember when I was in Jamaica hittin up all the Margaritavlles with my mom on some tourist shyt. At one of the spots, they had this cliff you could jump off of into the water. Of course, cacs were drunk as hell and lined up to take the leap.
When my mom asked why I wouldn’t do it, after explaining that Black people don’t do that kinda shyt I pointed out the jagged rocks just below the jump. It wasn’t a hard jump, but it was obvious that one slip would have me kickin it with my grandpa in the next plane. And considering all the Bahama Mamas that I was drinking I made the right choice.
