Literally watching this shyt play out in my family. Girls think the way we do because ppl fill our heads with fairytales. That is how girls are socialized, especially in the West. I’m one of the few younger women in my family that the men have real conversations with.

If ppl kept it all the way real you’d see way more women getting what they want and not being crazy emotional about things men do. We’d also be a lot more shrewd and not dumb enough to engage in casual sex 🤣
Seeeee that’s why we don’t play dem games in my family.

We grew up both men AND women with the understanding that you need to be well-rounded and know how to do a lil bit of everything. We were taught to never need a dikk to pay yo rent. That’s independence. That’s self-reliance.
We were also taught to say NOPE to anybody sorry, lazy, immature, violent, ignorant, stupid, untrustworthy.

Keep yo legs closed unless ya’ll both in love. But if you hot in the pants, get you some birth control, condoms, dental dams, spermicide, day after…don’t catch no diseases, don’t make no illegitimate kids. No kids unless you married.

Stack your money, get your education, invest in properties, see the world. Love spending time by yourself and be comfortable alone. Then you can find somebody good to spend your life with and not dump a bunch of insecurities on them b/c ur needs are met. Choose wisely. Vet them for a LOOONG TIME. Date many, fukk few. Don’t cut your life short getting married too young. Kids change your life. Do you before you have em. But know when to exit the game.

And when you get married, learn how to talk shyt through instead of giving up at the first sign of trouble.

To the daddy’s girls, ain’t nothing like having a good father to teach you how to maneuver in these streets.
:wow:

I feel you.
We were def taught those things. But the issue is there wasn’t enough discussion about the games men may play, etc. I’ve had good girls AND guys get burned in my family.

Hell, have one cousin now who would be a great example of GMB.

Knocked up and married a psycho who basically makes his mother watch the children while she shops and hits the spas daily. Real nice guy cautionary tale. Came from a 2 parent household 🤷🏾‍♀️

I remember one life changing moment. I was in high school and I was a virgin. I had a little boyfriend. He tried to pressure me to screw. I just felt we were too young. He dumped me for a chick that was suckin dikk in the stairwell. :to:I told my dad about it.

:pachaha: My dad was like “why the hell you cryin? Tell that horny ass mofo to watch some porn and get over it. You ain’t gotta do shyt you don’t want to. And don’t listen to that dumb shyt he gon try and tell you. A man will say one thing, date another, fukk somebody totally different and use they car to get to the next hoe down the road. He ain’t the only nikka out there!”

I remember feeling so empowered. Maaaan I went back to school like two days later and started talking to a whole nother dude and the ex got mad.:deadrose:
Thank god I had good parents there to tell me the power of NOPE. Chicks think shyt sweet out here and dudes be straight scammers. Girls with good fathers vet better. They had solid men put them on game. Mothers can do it too, but it’s even more powerful when it comes from the gender you are dealing with.

Yeeeeeeeees! That’s why dads are so important! It’s different when your dad puts you on game 🙏🏾 You feel more secure when he instructs you and tells you about guys 👍🏾
