A continuation of my "Favorite track off a Classic or Great album" threads. Yesterday I covered Cappadonna's "The Pillage" in which the majority voted for "Run". Today it will be RZA's overlooked album"RZA as Bobby Digital in Stereo". RZA has always been the Goat producer for me just off the strength of his 5 classic album run. No one in Hip-Hop has ever done that let make 5 of them in a span of 3 years. & that's not including his amazing work on every other project besides those 5 especially "Supreme Clientele". Besides being a phenomenal producer, IMO I consider him an established MC as well. Anyone that says that RZA can't go on the mic get the :francis: from me & are usually the less informed Wu tang fans that think he's off beat & not a good rapper. His verse on 4th Chamber proves it & several others. "Bobby Digital in Stereo" has RZA as his alter ego Bobby Digital. Dude was serious about it too, making everyone call him Bobby Digital in the studio. This time around RZA uses largely keyboard drivem production instead of his usual sampling. RZA calls it "Digital Orchestra". This album is one of my personal classics, but is usually overshadowed just like "Tical" by the other Wu solo albums. RZA definitely spits dope verses on this album. "Domestic Violence" no matter how many times I listen to it has me:laff:
"All you do is watch tv and smoke weed
Get your nails done and feet, scrub the hairweave
Sleep all day, eat, gain weight, can't breathe
Talking about you're going to leave?
Then bytch leave! What the fukk you're waiting for?
Hit the door, I ain't taking this shyt no more!
Spending all my cream on Gucci, Phillies and Coach
Before you moved to my lab, bytch, I ain't never seen a roach" :dead:
I'd probably call the song my favorite just for that.
What's your favorite track off the album? & if you can, explain.
A few tracks are missing (Mostly skits) because the album has 21 tracks & the poll can only handle 15.

A Mississippi Cotton Field
another one you arent gonna see me vote on.

too many joints on here I love.

BOBBY
Unspoken Word.
Holocaust (got my favorite ghostface verse on it)
Mantis
that joint with Killa Sin on it
Domestic Violence (Your father said you was a ho! And when you leave me, bytch!? you gone be a ho!)

Reall, the only thing that brings this album down is the skits. It's amazing how it's Bobby Digital, but it has the grimiest sound next to Tical. Super lo-fi sound.

okay I'm voting Holocaust.
