That was pretty dope. I’d like to listen to more before forming an opinion, but to me off that right there it just sounds influenced by. But I also think that Dilla is very hard to bite bite because so few people even have the skill set to do it.

To me the best producer on earth right now is Madlib so I don’t mean any disrespect when I say this but to me he’s been the only person to truly successfully be able to bite Dilla and have it sound dope. And I’m not saying that he makes a habit out of it, but he went through a phase of it and he also made a tribute beat tape to Dilla that sounded uncanny.

most of my favorite Dilla stuff came off of Carte Blanche, particularly Cold Steel and Nasty Aint It. then Thelonius. but really he has too many great beats to choose from.
