You must be naive to believe that republicans are against big government. They are only against big government insofar as it doesn’t dictate what the white establishment can or can’t do. This has been the prevailing attitude in the antebellum south and is very much a factor to this day.

So, these are migrants being shuttled across states by republicans. If you are so concerned with the plight of this community, perhaps some of that ire should be directed at those running this entire scam in the first place. While they are lining the pockets of donors and friends, they are delegating responsibility to other cities and consequently, other impoverished communities that are disproportionately black.

The article also mentions that community leaders tried to work with Latino organizations in the area to seek alternative locations for housing the migrants, but were rebuffed by city officials.

As I said earlier in this thread, these are migrants legally seeking asylum. They are set with court dates and must meet that criteria, but republicans are working as a detriment when they introduce unnecessary hurdles. It is next to impossible for these people to go through the proper channels and legally obtain citizenship when their court cases are hundreds of miles away. You can thank Abbott and DeSantis for the influx of “illegals.” Those same resources that you feel are being cruelly robbed of communities that need it, come at the expense of what these republicans are doing.

This is precisely why you are rightfully called a crypto-republican, because rather than vet any sources or a simple google search, you take videos with little context at face value.
