Charleston White made a good point in a recent interview.

He said MLK was mainly followed by the youth in the beginning who wanted to integrate. The elders were against it and told them we already got our own shyt, we don't need to eat at White places when they obviously don't want us to be there.

It sucks that MLK didn't realize that he made a mistake until the end of his life. Then they killed him when he was ready to fight for reparations. We should have never left our communities and local economies to patronize White establishments.

Breh as a Chicagoan it really upsets me how the black political power has all but evaporated in the city with jokers fighting over crumbs. Man I am old enough to remember Jesse White hooking black folks and kids up with jobs all on the North side to keep them off and out the streets.

Then to see gentrification in the city wipe out black neighborhoods and shyt. Man I was telling folks on here how a black person from the 80s and 90s wouldn't even be able to recognize the North side.

I was all on the beach off of Fullerton last year and told my wife how it use to be filled with black folks (Mexicans and Puerto Ricans too) and how now you lucky to see any black folks out there (or even latins). But you see nothing but white folks for miles and miles...

Charleston White is an idiot and thats a terrible point. We didnt uniformly "have our own shyt." MLKs bus boycott was an instance of bp forced to use the white mans system precisely bc we didnt have one of our own.

Here in NY, my grandparents tax dollars went toward colleges and universities they werent allowed to attend. Would this idiot suggest my grandparents continue to pay for white kids education while also paying out of pocket to attend a school they were allowed to attend? No, run my shyt.

There's a running theme on this board that no matter what outrageous/false comment a celeb, YTer, member, or mod says, that they are still to be taken seriously later.

This would be the first place I've known about where this notion flies. Most other places, MFers lose the right to be taken seriously after displaying such ignorance.

I believe Garcia understands that he'll have a "new" voting block in four years with all the illegals coming in.


But in my opinion, Wilson is the realistic candidate because of his connection to the people who actually vote in Chicago, the boomers.. Millennials don't vote here. So Jamal Green shouldn't even be running. Brandon is a CTU plant and shouldn't be trusted because they can't even handle the lead problem at the school thats 6 miles away from the school they fixed up to put the illegals in.
