I don't have nothing against anyone. That said, what happened and is happening to black people in Los Angeles is a microcosm of what's going to happen across the country.

If the LA city council members getting secretly recorded talking about taking resources away from black neighborhoods, just to reallocate them to latino neighborhoods didn't wake you up...nothing will.

They basically used black Latinos to "get a foot in the door".

Ultimately we have to face and deal with that we're a divided people who hate one another and only come together to fight W.S.. The Mexican government has officially recognized the significant influence of African culture on the national identity, alongside European and indigenous peoples, since 1992. In 2019 this was officially adopted into the Mexican constitution itself. Furthermore, in a historic move, they added Afro-Mexican identification to the census for the first time. It may not seem much but I think they are making tremendous strides considering those of African descent constitute only 1-5% of the overall population.

As for the latter part of your post, you could substitute any other ethnic group and the answer would still be nebulous.

Disaggregation of the hispanic/latino group, removal of all "set asides", mass publication of "latino" racism, removal of "minority status". Basically: be the white people your forefathers wanted you to be, with no booster seats or training wheels.
