No, what I'm saying is that in a general election where perception is more important than reality..that Biden can play upon his humble upbringing versus Trump's silver spoon background. No chance someone like Biden is going to be able to leverage this into anything, because people like him either ARE the beneficiaries of these loopholes, or benefit from even more blatant, structurally engrained malfeasance.
Like, seriously, what the hell are 95% of the Democrats in Congress actually going to say on this, "please tear down a system that directly benefits me and the largest donors at my regular $700 a plate dinners?"
Never forget that 5 of the top 10 wealthiest members of Congress are Democrats.
Anyone who isn't Bernie Sanders or MAYBE Elizabeth Warren is going to get steamrolled on this point by Trump pointing how the media figureheads for this scandal are Hollywood types who probably (definitely in the case of Felicity Huffman) donate to Democrats. No Democrat will be willing to turn this pathetic media spectacle into the structural issue in American education that it is because, again, those Democrats directly benefit from it as much as ANY Republican does.
