Gross negligence is a standard too. He actually outlined a strong enough case for that but said no prosecutor would bring up charges. She was never going to get charged anyway. Like he said, there's no precedent.

I'm in law school so I understand the lingo of "gross negligence" etc, seems like the case should've at least gone to trial, based off the statute.

I realize the FBI and DOJ "know more" about the case then me, but they gave an insufficient explanation just now as to why the case shouldn't at least go to trial.
