The DREAM Act never should have been rescinded in the first place and trying to use that, along with healthcare for children, to try to extort Democrats into going along with toxic bullshyt is not going to fly.

Furthermore, Cheeto is a) on record saying the blame for any government shutdown is ultimately on the President, and b) back in May tweeted the country is "in need of a good shutdown"

Got to admit that the dreamer kids are very very persistent. They are really fighting for this.
