I would love that Trump fukks up so bag, it pushed voters to elect some one totally opposite of him & that would enforce the laws we already have on the books.
But one of the most disappointing things that will most likely come from this (if we even get past this MAGA era) is that Overton Window will be pushed right for American voters.
They’ll elect another moderate like Biden, Clinton…..and keep a lot of Trump’s bullshyt going. These benefits he’s cutting….even if the Republicans, I highly doubt any milquetoast Democrat Presidential candidate pushes to get back.
Same way Dems got “tough on crime” after Bush Sr pushed them right. in this sense, both sides are similar.

My cousin recently retired after 35+ years from the Dept of Ed. She’s only in her 50s so she had more time but I understand her choice. She’s looking forward to spend time with her grandchildren.
Another cousin working overseas was telling me about his USAID colleagues who were given 30 days to leave. Their computer access had already been revoked so they had to rely on other friends to get details . Imagine uprooting your family, young children in school on short notice.
I’m definitely thankful. The new ‘fight’ is over space—they can put me in the mailroom; I’m just glad to have a job.

Dreams Are Colder Than Death...
Welp...it was fun while it lasted y'all. Today made a year I was back with the Feds. Tomorrow is my last day. We got consolidated and since I'm the newest hire (and Black), I was probably gonna be the first fired so I took DRP. Got some things in the works but I'm gtfo the DMV area. Best of luck to y'all that's still stuck in the shyt.
