Honestly I don't think they are thinking that far ahead. I don’t honestly think most BW think past their 20s when they are in them. We are not taught to prioritize relationships or marriage so it's an after thought to most.

I think that is the case for BM as well. What I will never understand why having kids out of wedlock is acceptable these days or at least given higher priority than getting married before having kids?

I had a half sibling tell me, who is in her early 30s, that she would become a baby momma before being a wife. I didn't say anything and just shook my head.

I guess it comes down to choice. Thing is for me is that I hope people accept the outcomes from whatever choices they make. People aren't going to be as compassionate towards others who make bad choices in life.

From a man's perspective, it seems like the upside of getting married is slim these days. A man with common sense and a modicum of wisdom know not to sign up for a subprime deal.

I agree with you and dont agree with you. Yes the chick living at home with 3 kids working part time at McDonalds is dating a Garbageman (Municipal Garbagemen make decent money) that makes 3X what they make and those dudes are "High Value" to them.

But Black women aren't generally happy with these men. They say it several times in several ways. And being the least married and most divorced to boot.

But do you really think if they married a millionaire but he had her living in a 1 bedroom apt driving a used a 01' Camry she would be happy? It's not really about money. It's about presentation.

What. 40k a year is $15-16 a hour with overtime. You really think most women haven’t dated a man making that type of money
