I'm gonna be aiight g, I'm just venting. I'm in a rough emotional stretch right now because like I've said, I've never been in this predicament before. I have two older children, the process and experience of having a child is emotional and beautiful to me. I'm also a lover by nature, and like most men I like to feel needed and provide for someone I emotionally attach too. So this experience is very humbling and taking some reconciling but I'm fine, I'll be good when I shake off the hurt feelings lol...
That’s 19.23/hour for a 40-hour week. In Florida, half the working people make less than $15/hr. Mathematically, women would have to be dating the same men.

OP is correct in the notion that most BW don't want or aren't actively seeking high earning men, but at the same time Samuels' show isn't just dealing with women who want HVM. It also shows how the modern woman thinks on a number of issues.
Self awareness, accountability, lack of communication skills, the disregard/disrespect of men etc....
His show exposes that a lot of women have childlike mindsets and are operating in an adult world. Even the ones who call in just for clout.

$19.23 without it. Refer to me earlier reply to another breh with a little more detail. Fast food has been fighting for $15/hour minimum wage for about a decade but you really think there is an abundance of guys making such money.
What. 40k a year is $15-16 a hour with overtime. You really think most women haven’t dated a man making that type of money

Back to the previous point, the system/gov't is a woman's sugar daddy/side nikka. If all else fails, women know that they have a safety net to catch them. For us, we are our own safety net. If we fall on hard times, then we will be told to HYON and figure shyt out. May be fukked up, but it is what it is...
Moving forward, we as men need to be mindful of who we bring into our lives, especially those of us who have shyt to lose.

What I feel you aren't acknowledging is the fact that most women want a man who can support their current lifestyle without them having to pay significant bills. So if you are talking about a woman who makes $80k+ what kind of income do you think a man would need to make to fulfill that desire?

As a breh who has dated a fair share of decent women, I respectfully disagree with that. The actual cap IME has been the opposite. They want what they want, but tend to present themselves as more reasonableWe all do it in some way of putting our best foot forward early on.. But there always come a time where the delusional standard that is what they really want creeps in.
All it takes is one argument, one friend/peer who's jealous or she's jealous of, one planted seed from her ppl/media and boom. these are good women that aren't birds or underachievers by any means.

I know what I'm about to say is relevant to the topic, but I'm not sure exactly where it fits in. But I live on a pension, that should go even higher when I turn 62, God willing. As most middle aged people know, living on a pension isn't all that much, even if you worked in IT earning an above average salary like I did, which would have been six figures if I were still working there. To tie this to the topic, although I live on a pension, I have no bills other then the light bill, and I had bought my home brand new. But this somehow wasn't enough to some of the women I dated, especially the pretty ones. The problem then became: What did you do all day?; Did you do any work?; How come you're not all that much into sports?...although I was when I was younger, especially boxing, which was gone by then; How come you don't have a lot of hobbies?...although I did every hobby you could think of growing up - like a 50 year-old man is still suppose to go roller skating. But the least attractive ones, all I had to do was be there and do the usual, like picnics, occasional concerts, movies, eating out. Then sometimes, all I had to do was just be there.
I wonder if I was a HVM so to speak, with a bunch of bills, not even sure if I'll be able to retire one day, would have satisfied some of those women. I haven't done a lot of dating since I retired, so I'm not sure if a majority feel this way, but those few I dated since then gave me bad vibes about our women in general.
