You say that to say what? If she team driving then the money is literally split which means off the bat she didn’t make 20k in a week
I’m assuming the person she driving with she is related too
Shut up
The majority of drivers do dry van or reefer so that's oversaturated. Flatbed, hazmat and tanker are pretty much open if someone gets their TWIC card and endorsements. That's why I laugh when I read comments like "It's Biden's fault!" like he created this overstock or "the illegals and foreigners are taking cheap freight and driving down the prices!". I feel like there's more than one way to make money in this game. If I go tanker, I'll lease on to Schneider or Heniff. I'm not even thinking about my own authority yet.
100% agree. This is the exact way to go for someone who wants to be an Owner Operator. Too many people jump out the window and try to have their own authority and don't realize that your expenses nearly double with your Insurance rates, payments to keep Registration up to date, paying Freight Brokers, Making payments on a trailer, etc etc
Sounds like a no brainer as you don’t have to real overhead cost… do they pay for fuel or is that a cost out of pocket? What about maintenanceYou'd be running your truck under someone else's authority. Some will let you use their insurance and pay for your tags and plates (IFTA and plates) and if they have access to a load board, you can choose what you wanna run instead of being forced

XPO is getting those contracts.Yellow shutting down shop is creating the opportunity for the owner operators now to get those loads
