Black Feminist are not fighting Cac supremacy and building Black institutions and the few who are do it with less fervor than when they attack BM and WW

Well, I don't know any black feminists who do that, so I guess it's all about who you consort with. It's a good point though - we can all work more on building black enterprises.

Who's at fault for women being underpaid though? Black women AND black males are both underpaid in comparison to whites, so if we both have the same issue what purpose does tackling that issue from a females perspective as opposed to a unified black perspective solve?

They don't want to hear that. They tryna get money by any means necessary. Even it means cutting your throat.

Why does it have to be a either/or? We can fight for both. That's kinda the point of black feminism. After we fight for black rights, there's still the gender gap to address.

Because it ISN'T either or. There are almost NO forms of discrimination you face as a BLACK female that BLACK men don't have to endure either. That's why it doesn't make sense, in my opinion, to dilute that energy when we are both fighting the same enemy, which is white supremacy.

You think Rosa Parks took a stand only to promote the right for black FEMALES to be able to sit anywhere on the bus? You think Martin marched only so black MALES could be treated equally? They saw that conditions of black people as a whole were fukked up. If you have a movement where you have the males going in one direction and the females in another, that movement isn't moving at all.

If you really believe that, then we've reached a stalemate in the debate. I can't convince you otherwise. No hard feelings, but I don't want to go in circles trying to convince people that sexism is real and affects women in negative and destructive ways. It's like trying to convince white folks that racism is real, if they really don't want to believe it is, they will deny it with their last breath.

Of course I understand that sexism is real and it effects women in negative ways. Absolutely agree. But I asked you what forms of discrimination do you face SPECIFICALLY as a BLACK woman, that black males don't face.

You just said you believe sexism exists, so that means our experiences as black women and men are going to be different. My body is objectified all the time, and my value is frequently tied to my looks, not my intelligence. When I do demonstrate intelligence (especially if I show too much), it's frowned upon. I've had people tell me I had too much education and that it would make me ineligible for marriage and that I was "getting too big for my britches". I've been on a research team and had men make jokes about me using my "other talents" to earn my position. And then there's the safety issue. I'm 5'2, 135lbs. I can't walk down the block at night casually without looking over my shoulder. I'm more at-risk because literally no one is scared of me. I'm the perfect target because even if I get sexually assaulted there's much less outrage and more suspicion cast on me if I report. Thousands of black women get raped and/or go missing every year, they hardly ever get the media's attention. And that's just part of the story.

I'm not trying to diminish the challenges black men go through, because you guys go through your own, that's obvious. But you can't ignore that black women have their own unique challenges as a result of racism and sexism.

Because their issue isn't really white patricarchy. No, they would LOVE to change places with white women and receive the benefits of white patriarchy.

Black feminists chief issue is that they are aligned with men who have systematically been trampled and have a harder time providing the protecting, comfort and image that their white counterparts take for granted. A large portion of black feminism is anti-black male rhetoric. So, it's no surprise these women will either marry white or become lesbian because that is better than being with a black man in their calcified mind.

Black feminists don't want to destroy patriarchy. They're just mad that they don't get to enjoy it. They want to switch spots is all.

That's also part of the reason white feminists are leery of them because they know they got one foot on the protest line and one foot in the bed with her husband.

Why you think these b#tches love the image of Olivia Pope so much? :mjpls:

Peace

I'm suspecting that the black men hating black feminists think this

I agree... and yet the popular narrative from Black feminists such as Feminista Jones is attacking Black men.

White women can more easily get the law passed than black women....and white men will do it because of their quest to protect white womanhood. Black women will benefit from said laws whether we help them or not because we are women and we are the folks more likely to be on the receiving end of your bullshyt. I sure as hell won't be standing up to stop their quest to end the ninja bullshyt.

More power to them. :sas2:
If that is true then why did black feminists split from white feminists in the first place.

Think about that for a second dumbass. :dead:
