When those insititutions shut down them to low enrollment, what then?

STEM majors about to be outsourced, with no worker rights and no unions. That's a dangerous combo.

Lower the tuition rates, and more men will go back to college.

I said they are much more likely to make more money with an advanced degree. Engineers will advanced degrees are more likely to make more money than those without. Same with IT and business. People with business degrees and an MBA are more likely to make more money than those with a Bachelors' or just a HS diploma. The numbers are irrefutable.

Advanced degree in Computer Science and IT making more money is laughable . You got GIS Developers and SQL Developers making 100k + with a Bachelor degree or lower

Business in the Corporate world, I'll give you that. Alot of Quantitative Finance, CPA Accountants, Corporate Law, etc etc
In the non-Corporate world, it's the opposite. If you are in business management in Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Real Estate, etc, an Advanced degree are useless

Again, I never said they couldn't make money. I said advanced degree holder in those subject are more likely to make more money. You can call them fluffy accessories or useless all you want. That's not the point. They more often than not will command a higher salary all other variables being equal.

As for the bolded, I'm in MBA classes every week with people in those industries that work at F500/1000 companies and I know that's not true.

The numbers are irrefutable. If you are an HS grad with no secondary education, your career income is likely to be nowhere near that of someone with an advanced degree. Period.

Life is about looking at statistics and making an informed decision. As we all know you can do everything right and things might be different for you than for someone else who went through the same schooling. I know plenty of engineers who are under employed. Meaning they don't do much actual engineering work. There's also a massive amount of foreign engineers in this country you are competing with so things arent always green. Also there's many types of engineering that all are very different from each other. The traditional engineering fields aren't paid that well. I did civil engineering and even did masters degree in the end after a few years i went to work in construction management for better pay. It opened up my eyes how well the trades get paid. Bottom line is we cant paint everything with the same brush, you can be successful without being educated.
