Man don’t let these women hijack the the thread.

The Unique Pressures on Black Women to Parent and Provide

Black families trail slightly behind all other racial groups with23 percent of Black children growing up in a home with a stay-at-home mother.

1 out 4 kids has a stay at home mom. That’s just slightly behind the average :francis:

they in here telling :duck: just to shyt on black men

if it’s a goal, it can be accomplished. shytting on ppls goals, especially one like that is just being maliciously mean.

The most recent assessment of the labor force includes 62 percent of black women as compared to 57.5 percent of white women.

The disparity your parroting does exist but it’s not as big as u say it is :yeshrug:
Sure it’s can be the goal, but in racist ass, steal from the poor give to the rich white supremacist America, I don’t see the point in putting unnecessary pressure on blk men to overwork themselves so a chick can get the latest bundle and then go “they can’t provide like other races of men” while ignoring historical context.

Especially in the age of equality when women are fully capable of working. Unless the dude and chick are absolutely in support of a stay at home wife traditional family, people shouldn’t expect men to have to do all the shyt by themselves financially.

And if the disparity isn’t as big that only proves my point that most families ain’t on the wave not just blk ones. Why? Because its hard as hell to make it in today’s society off one income unless ur pretty rich. And most people aren’t. That’s all I’m saying. Women in my family were stay at home moms until we were latch-key kids and then EVERYBODY worked. Lol! But everybody also pitched in at home so my mom wasn’t going thru the double burden stuff that makes marriage unbearable for a lot of chicks.

If u got it like that, I’m happy for ya. But what’s the latest average yearly income for African Americans? Not everybody is ballin outta control like the 6 certs, 6 figures Coli club.

I've not ever called u fat or a bytch :gucci:

As a matter of fact even in debates I've not ever called any brehettes here out of her name, even when they got hostile with me

I was just saying u are normally cool but u wild angry in this thread

I mean look at all that u just typed to my 4 word post :picard:
You literally called me bitter.
Which is a shaming tactic. I never said u called me fat, but humorously inquired whether any other shaming tactics would come out the woodwork in general.
:mjlol:
I think some go out of their way to be incensed with me personally b/c they don’t like the truth of what I’m saying.

Nothing about me is angry but u literally skipped over several posts I was responding to which were highly insulting to magically hone in on me like I’m angry.

I’m literally just responding like I always do. With verbosity, yes, but I always use a lot of words.

Like I said, go back and read the exchanges.
Dudes calling women useless, inferior, all kinds of shyt. As soon as I call “bullshyt”, we clutching pearls on some “Well I NEVER!”

:deadmanny:
I love ya’ll I swear I do.

well yeah. Women entering the workforce led to decreased wages.

Essentially feminists wanted women to have the option to work, they did and now they’re forced to work.

that’s a well known economic impact to the western world.

there are also black women who only will marry black man that will provide them with the opportunity to work from home. There’s millions of em :yeshrug:

I get ur points but there are plenty of black men who make enough to let there wives stay at home.

you’re stereotyping a lot of men

My mom stayed at home, and so did a few of her friends, because they were married to breadwinners. I suspect that as the col gets higher and wages continue to not match up, that it will become less of possibility even for higher earners. Especially for millennials. Some women prefer to work, some have no choice, others prefer to stay at home. I think it’s best that people choose mates that have the same idea in mind as far as that goes. As in, it doesn’t make sense for a man seeking a traditional stay at home wife, to date women that are very about their careers and have a lot of goals as far as that goes. And it makes no sense for a woman that wants a traditional style of marriage to get with a man that isn’t in a position to provide while she stays at home. As long as both people are on the same page that’s what matters. I see no reason for people to go off on each other about marriage(like what’s happening in this thread) if they don’t want to even get married let alone the same style of marriage. To each their own.

I think books is only explaining that not every woman wants marriage like men believe, and she’s giving the reasons why that’s the case.

I didn't purposely skip over your posts and I definitely don't cosign any posts saying stupid shyt like women are useless

I had every intention of ignoring this thread but it kept popping up so I checked the last page or 2 and saw u going off

If women don't want marriage that sounds amazing to me so I actually like what you're saying, I hope more women see no point in marriage.

The best way to phrase it is

I want to get married. But I look around at prospects and I can't imagine being tied to one of these individuals:picard:

And even the decent ones suspect. Dudes hoping she don't switch up after being married or having kids. Next thing you know your in court fighting for your life against your former ride or die .

This shyt so fukked up I would rather just pay hoes. So GMB.:yeshrug:
Do you desire to get married, or gmb?

Start some shyt. Then complain about the discord.

I’m sorry but I’m confused. Maybe I’m not understanding but most latest economists have postulated the opposite as of late.
Average wages for all workers, men and women, have increased as a result of women joining the workforce
“Economists are continually examining the effect of the economy on women, but this male-dominated field seems to be failing to ask what impact women in turn have on the economy? Researchers have examined how women's participation in the workforce has affected economic growth and productivity in cities across the US. They estimate that every 10% increase in female labor force participation rates increases average real wage growth in cities by approximately 5%.”

I get that. A lot of women do tho.

Hmm of the friends I have that are not married, a lot don’t want to work and would love to be with a man that can provide, but the biggest issue is securing that commitment from said men, and/or finding a man that makes enough to be a provider without needing her income as well.

Of my friends that are married, most work and they prefer it, the joke is always “work is the break, the real work begins when I actually get home”.

I have a couple of friends that stay at home and enjoy it too. So I really think it’s a toss up these days.

This is all about policing black men and limiting our options. Most black women I know could care less about getting married. And they want to ensure as many eligible black men do the same. That way they always have a pool of men to choose from. That's the real reason they don't want you dating Becky or Ling Ling. Its all about control and access to resources for all women.

This deep and it will go over a lot of people's heads ....

Huh? If we could care less about getting married why would we then suddenly care about bm getting married? It doesn’t make sense. If someone doesn’t care about marriage, it isn’t just personal, they legit don’t gaf at all who does or does not marry. That includes bm. It’s the women that care about marriage but can’t find a man that will wife her, that would be more interested in limiting the options of eligible bm so that you become an option for her.

At least make it, make sense.
So you're saying all the black women you know want to be married? If that's the case why aren't they? Or are they perfectly fine with the status quo as long as black men are in the same boat?

So ur new at this? Your bolded states cities in the us. Plus it’s stating that women entering the workforce are the reasons for wage growth in cities not ppl as a whole just moving to cities :francis: That’s why no one cites that study

Did u even read it?
