Anyway a few comments, if Lin's sample size was so small last year how does an even smaller sample size prove the opposite? Lin is still a young player yet some treat him as if he's a finished product like ol buddy who he knew he'd prove to be sorry because he went to Harvard and was undrafted. Just because something doesn't fit into you simplistic view of the world doesn't mean it's possible (and that goes for many things in life). Also, he doesn't make $8 mil. He makes 5, 5 then 15. By that 3rd year he'll either prove to be a worthy piece to the puzzle or he will be trade bait with that salary. For dude asking about Lowry/Dragic, Lowry was NOT coming back regardless. Besides him being moved paved the way for Harden. I love Lowry but Harden>>>Lowry. We did want Dragic back though and he turned it down. It is what it is but don't rewrite history.

Like I said Lin isn't shooting well and doesn't look completely healthy but some of ya'll are easy to see through and I'm not even talking about Knicks fans because I understand where ya'll are coming from.

btw I guess I was the only one who got a laugh at dude who posted Felton's stats as if they were impressive. Other than having worse shooting numbers (aside from free throws) and scoring Lin has better stats so far.

Steve Nash at Santa Clara was one of the most heralded collegiate point guards in his day.

All I know is I saw Lin benched for Douglas in overtime on bleacher report they blaming harden and saying how Lin is so much more intelligent than anyone else not racial overtones at all . He's not as explosive and he's not even as quick as last year plus for some reason he's hesitant picking his dribble up early .

I'm not riding for anyone, I'm just speaking facts. nikkas was saying Lin was finished after his first bad game as a Knick so they obviously have no credibility.

And I didn't give Felton this much of a chance because he was a fat loser who didn't care enough about his career to stay in shape because he got traded. Of course I wasn't gonna be optimistic about getting him back when Lin was the better player last season. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about Felton immediately after we resigned him, but I'd like to point out that I did say I was gonna give him a fair chance again and hoped that he brought to us the same thing he brought us last time.

And you're absolutely right about Lin's injury not being that serious and about Mike D'Antoni making him look good. There's no disputing either statement. BUT...you have to also admit that Mike played Lin far too many minutes, too soon, and to Lin's detriment for wins. If his minutes were managed better, we could've had him for the playoffs and he might be playing better to begin this season.

I'm also happy with what we have...never claimed to say otherwise. Don't know why it's being brought up. :owerd:

People never took into account that Lin had his run on the back end of a lockout shortened season. He was playing teams that had already played condensed schedules. Nobody was checkin for this guy.

He had flaws, turnovers/bad left but nobody cared. To me, his game is limited once you make an effort to D him up. His heart pumps kool aid as well. Miami exposed that, but the the fact that he never made an effort to play in the playoffs last year said a lot. Byron Davis played with one leg.

Lin is nothing like Steve Nash so nikkas need to kill those comparisons. D'Antoni loves Lin because he proved that you can put a D League scrub in his system and he will flourish. Carmelo and JR knew this nikka was a scrub. Woodson knew he was a scrub.

The reason I laugh at Lin and enjoy his failures is because he tried to play the business side of it too much. Doing dumb shyt like trying to trademark Linsanity. Vince Carter didn't trying to pull some shyt like that. Then after the knicks fought to get early birds rights, he plays them out and agrees to a contract that would put the knicks over the cap if they matched

You know what's funny....this offseason, I'm prety sure I remember Jason Kidd saying he wanted to go to New York Knicks and mentor Jeremy Lin at the point position. Not too long later, Lin bolts for Houston and a big contract.

He should've stayed and learned first hand from a willing HOF'r like J Kidd.

Instead I think he knew he was a flash in the pan somewhat and just bolted for the easy money.

He coulda stayed in NY, still got endorsement money, supreme adulation from fans, and most importantly, improved his game for a season or two with J. Kidd, THEN left for even more money.
