Nah. You need a real fanbase to sell these days. You have to have a connection with people. I like Future, but their is nothing special about him. He's a strip club rapper, just like most of the south. People don't know when his album drops, because they dont care. I think it's a good thing overall, because it will come to a point where labels will stop signing ringtone rappers because they wont get a return on the investment. I said it before and people mocked me but rappers like Gambino may not be all over the radio, but they will eat alot longer than most ringtone/strip club rappers. Everyone is a rapper these days. If you want a real career and not 15 minutes of hood fame, you have to be serious about your craft and say something real that the average fan can relate to.
