Future's biggest issue is that two of the biggest songs he had on his own were on FBG the Movie. Karate Chop and Chosen One were mixtape cuts, UOENO was a Rocko song, the rest were features. Missed opportunities

come on bruhs, I fukks with Future but I make no delusions regarding the type of rapper he actually is. he makes catchy singles that are good for the club/whip. but let's not front like he's some serious artist saying something important and making timeless music. in a couple years, the music he drops that has the clubs on smash will sound dated as fukk. that's just not the type of artist who sells a lot of albums these days with the rise of illegal downloads/ringtones/iTunes etc.

you can clown J Cole/Kendrick/Drake for being boring/weird/soft, etc. but ultimately these dudes have crafted artistic identities strong enough to generate a steady fanbase who buys into what they're saying. they also know how to make albums not just a couple club bangers surrounded by filler
