Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Thread

Signs are pointing to a reveal tomorrow. Rebirth was revealed about a year and half after Intergrade dropped in late 2022 and dropped early 2024. If we’re looking at a 2027 release then now is the perfect time for a reveal.

Any thoughts on the name? I’m still going with “Reunion”.

Can't wait for it. I just bought the remake, and I'm enjoying it so far. Didn't think the characters would be so well written for this generation, but they've done it.

I enjoyed the 2nd one much more than the 1st remake. Rebirth is a top 5 goat jrpg IMO.

Don’t really have to do much but deliver on the story and don’t change the formula too much.

The only thing I would like to see is less minigames or at least make them optional and the battles to last longer.

still haven’t finished rebirth. not feeling the multiverse bullshyt at all. I feel like almost every change they made to the plot was for the worse. now I don’t even care about the third game and it’s crazy to say since growing up ff7 was my favorite rpg of all time

I just assumed it would be shown because the timing is basically perfect. 1st reveal TGA 2nd around SGF with possibly some playable content, and then a release early 2027

game got alot of forced hate between stans who were mad at the timed exclusivity and miserable FF diehards that nitpick trivial stuff
like nobody was forcing you to 100% Queen's Blood (I did though )

and the battle system was perfect, if they just incorporate it into FF17, they'll be golden

THIS!. I'm like since when has a game reached a 92 Metacritic and plays so well get such forced hate to this extent?

Reading online you'd think FFVII Rebirth was a ~80 rated game and XVI was on par with it. It was a vocal minority especially die hard nostalgists clamoring for a 1:1 remake which I can bet you had they did would've gotten hate just as much. Getting a full blown JRPG with that level of quality, content and polish across a vast open world is something we dreamed of before FFXV which I felt still was rough along the edges. Rebirth which is better than both XV and XVI seems to have gotten way more hate from how I see it.

every character and plot point is now worse, multiverse fukk-it-we-tried writing, combat system that doesn't know what its even trying to do.... game looked good but i was right being disappointed out the gate and putting it off for months. just a fukking mess of a game that wouldn't even have a platform to stand on if it wasn't for the original
