Man gtfoh with this stupid shyt :camby:

Every game is a "movie" to you :smh:

What was text dialogue and reading is now voice acted with beautiful graphics but that makes it a movie game. What was FF7 before then? A book game? :stopitslime:

Yea if anything it’s more button mashing then movie game.
“Movie game” doesn’t mean mostly movies.

“Movie game” means everything is set to be “cinematic”

Linear, funnel you through corridors gameplay. Shallow combat more focused on looking cool than skill or strategy.

This is the uncharted of RPGs :smh:

Also while FF7 is like that most of midgar, that linear kinda direction goes out the window once you are out of midgar.

Part of the reason I'm really curious to see how they handle the next part of the game. It becomes fully open world.

I'm curious if they can keep the attention to detail, and feeling of being immersed when you have options to travel around or go from city to city.

Gang violence...
wonderful presentation but i seriously hope i can make this more of a traditional rpg. i dont want half assed action controls. i once read somewhere that there will be an oldschool mode or something.

Finally beat the boss after watching a TheRadBrad video.

So I got the switching down to a T now. I load up the ATB bar with one character and let him do an ability hit whilst switching character and building up the bar again and repeating the cycle. I normally fight with Cloud when the scorpion was in the ground but when it ran into the wall I changed to Barrett for his long range Abilities attacks. Used tonnes of health though.

I’ll get the game, it’s going to get confusing with more characters and remembering that triangle has different outcomes for Barrett (heavy attack only when charged) and Cloud (changes Operator/Heavy attack using Square). If they add another option for Triangle for another character added to character switching...boi

Block needs to be L1 (May get that behind the controller add-on)
