Final Fantasy VII Remake:Part1. INTERmission DLC (6/10/21).

I just got to the Wall Market, and now that I think about it tbh I don't know how much I'd like this game if I had never played the original. Don't get me wrong, the combat & materia system are great... but I don't know how much of my love is solely based on nostalgia.

And this might sound nitpicky, but a lot of little stuff annoys the fukk outta me... like the scenes that force you to walk, and the way the game restricts you from certain paths.

Still though, they did a great job remaking this.

With or without nostalgia this game is top 5 this gen for me. I’m loving every second.
I am interested in hearing from anyone who is t familiar with the game at all to get their impressions though.

Well if u do the hard mode... Put barrier and the new "all" materia together...cast it whole fight.....hard mode ain't joke..

That's only 2 ATB. Triangle (Omnistrike), Chi Trap, Triangle (Rise and Fall), Triangle (Uppercut), Overpower, basic combo

Actually, that wasn't Rise and Fall, but her Deadly Dodge move. Notice how after doing Chi Trap, she rolls to the right and then goes straight into those aerial kicks. That's Deadly Dodge.

I learned fast that chi trap is one of her best moves if not one of the better moves in the game period. The hit stun, juggle and small AOE are too good.
