I literally haven't touched a Final Fantasy game since FFX back in 2002. This might change that if the finished product is on point. The most encouraging thing is that they have Barret sounding legit boss-like, and not like some black caricature 'tough guy' illiterate.

F8 was the first FF game (and rpg) I ever played, followed by 7, then Tactics. Being introduced to RPGs via those 3 games in a year's span (x-mas and summer) was one of the best times of my youth as far as games go.

I'm curious how they will mesh the magic and summons of ff7 with this new action style. Wasn't nothing like casting quad summon with Knights of the Round with another character running mimic. That's about 30 minutes of run time right there.

i just watched the trailer again. wow sephiroth is gonna look so badass. There are so many scenes that are gonna be sick as fukk in these graphics!
