Is the player button mashing all those moves or is it just a command attack move where you just press "attack" once?
The standard attacks are done with square button but the special combos or limit breaks are done by selecting from the command menu.
Is this still an episodic release, or will it be the entire FFVII game in full?

Episodic but they say the game has been fleshed out to be a full game rather than a game that flows exactly like the original one.

No they did not. They're always praised and pleased be wary of this game. Be unimpressed and pessimistic because it makes you look more mature on the internet.
No but seriously, there's still people downplaying this and at this point some of those folks are just miserable "listen to me!! I'm different and smarter!" ass nikkas. Like, all this and the thing you can complain about is wanting a remake to play exactly like a game that's over 20 years old?
