Finally played this last night after not touching it for a week due to being busy with work and other shyt.

I just finished the mission in Drake's Breath.

So far the only thing that's been noticeable to me is the combat starting to get a bit tired? I wish we had status ailments, enemy weaknesses and other attributes that mattered.

True rpg nikkas know this shyt should be labeled something else. ( however the titan fight was dope)

I think the game picks up because I keep seeing people going ape shyt over the Hugo fight and I haven't gotten there yet. It's still a very good game but it misses the mark imo in a few areas.

I dunno breh, it was more of the same to me after Hugo. I still haven't beat it. Came back after a break and got through the next Eikon and now I'm back to taking a break. The set pieces are amazing, detailed and fluid but outside of those encounters it feels like a chore to get through for me because the dialog was often too drawn out and/or extended with filler, I fall asleep.

Get into battles and get hyped for a bit...until I realize I'm still truly doing the same thing over and over by having to depend on stagger to deal any real damage while yawning as I wait for my abilities to recharge. Not much of a different strategy for different enemies, and since elements don't matter why even switch from your favorite abilities (other than to keep yourself from getting bored).

Game has a solid base but still needs more seasoning.

Temporary dropped the game. It started to feel like a chore for me with the side quest, non challenging gameplay, and lack of RPG elements. Glad you guys like it, definitely on my bottom list of FF games.

I do love the combat though, I just don’t like the rpg story telling style with this type of game play.
