So I finally played this “Game of Thrones”game.

It’s just a Devil May Cry clone (yea I the DMC designer is was on the team) that jacked the whole God of War upgrade system and instead of Atreus, you have Torgal. Instead of an Axe and Blades of chaos, you have Eikons. Healing is the same as stepping on the green stones in GoW.

Can’t switch between party members is wack. Game is dope and the story is cool but it doesn’t feel like a FF game IMO.

Damn this trial stone I encountered randomly in Greensheaves kind of hard. First time I felt a little challenge.

I still wonder what the thought process was in making those Mid side quest missions a part of the main story but not doing the same for the Jill and Joshua ones. I didn't even realize they existed and could become a part of the team until they were the side question missions I had left.

This game is ass, if you like pretty shiny things then I'm sure you will find it good. But it gutted any RPG elements, any exploration, wonderment. The story ain't bad but drags due to incessant cut scenes and fetch quest for main quests.

Besides the mid stuff, which takes up like 30 minutes, there are no fetch quests for main quests.

You sure about that?

The one in Martha's Rest where you had to find and save the carpenter to repair the bridge could be considered a fetch quest since you essentially went right back to Martha and told her you found him. There were quite a few other ones as well where you had to go to a town and find a particular person in order and complete a bunch of essentially side quests in order to move to the main plot points.

Fetch quests aren't relegated to just items.

Breh your definition of "fetch" quest is apparently every type of fukking quest. :deadrose:

You were the one that said that there was no fetch quest as main quests. Did you not?

Some of those quests could definitely be considered fetch quest, which sucks because the end game quest with Jill and Joshua being able to become a part of the group should have been a part of the main story. It was the exact reason that the game dragged at certain parts of the story.

If that's not what you meant, then you need to clarify it in your comment next time.

Yeah, this game is well made and polished but I just can't get into it. There is nothng RPG about this game and the fact that it has Final Fantasy on the cover of this with no RPG elements makes me sick to my fukking stomach. :scust:

100. If you like spectacle this game is for you. But how a FF game not have debuffs, elemental damage and resistances, phoenix downs. If it was called something else instead of FF it wouldn't be as bad. But this is just egregious. I dropped the game after titan dominant fight. Just YouTube the rest
