Pac was way more versaitle.That's why I have to go with Pac.
NWA was used as a tool to kill conscious rap.Groundbreaking, but opened the door for a lot of dumb, tacky shyt.
I smell a lil COINTELPRO on them dudes.Not the group, but the architects behind the group.The Jerry Hellers etc..etc..
But to Cubes credit, I think he may have peeped that shyt.
This was a tough choice for me.Cube was my favorite rapper as kid.Loved Cube.
My son is 7 and Cube is his favorite rapper.I think he may have inherited that shyt from me.I don't know how he even knows who Cube is.I hardly ever play any rap music around him
Soon as I got him an IPad, the first thing he told me was "Dad put some Ice Cube on my tablet"
But that Pac is just too tough, tho

U can argue that cube has better albums but 2pac songs were better. Cube every had a song better than Dear Mama?
Cube had some good work, I thought AMW was a dope album, I never cared for DC, I liked N.W.A Straight Out Of Compton and I liked the WC album.
But compared to Pac, Pac has too much great shyt, 7DT, METW, AEOM, Thug Life, the first 2 were very dope and had some very dope posthumous albums too. Pac had too much, was more diverse, sounded more comfortable in different areas, more diverse content, just better in nearly every way to me.
I think Pac has the better albums, more classic songs, if you look at so many categories I think Pac takes it. Female orientated songs, club shyt (I know Cube had a few dope club joints too), emotionally captivating by far Pac, he was just a lot better to me. Personally Cube wouldn't make a top 10 list of mine, probably not even top 20 but Pac is number 1. There's a big difference between the 2 to me personally and it's not a close or hard decision for me. But once again reiterate Cube has done his thing and will go down in history, but ahead of Pac? Not to me.
