Promo is the record label spending money to market an album, in the various ways I laid out, as well as the artist interacting with the media to raise awareness. This album had very little.
If you dropped an album it would have no promotion.
Kanye's face projected on the side of buildings in Berlin, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Sydney, and Toronto is promotion. That shyt cost money. Just because it's not magazine ads or SNL appearances don't mean it's not promotion.

at Yeezuz not having promo,tmz talked about it multiple times and I don't even watch it every dayalong wth the fact everybody had an opinion on it....whether sum of the negativity about the quality of it is hurting him is another story,he does have that working against em....people won't be that outspoken on their feelings on jcoles album.
