Finally got the upgrade to vinyl flooring

looks good op. i put in the click and lock vinyl joints from home depot on my kitchen and bathroom. makes a huge difference.

Updated my post with pics. I should clarify, cats asking why not wood flooring, I live in an apt, vinyl flooring was the only option. Lord knows how much my rent would have went up if I asked for actual wood flooring. This started with the kitchen flooring as it needed replaced, they did that, I asked the property mgr to do the rest of the apt, she said no problem as my lease renewal was coming up and my rent went up a bit.

It definitely is for me, that carpet was old, stained, bunched up in certain areas, plus bugs are a problem during the spring/summer months. The vinyl floor is much cleaner, easier to maintain, a better option all around.

I just put down some Luxury Vinyl Planks with cork backing in my basement last month. So far no bad.

We just expanded our wood flooring on the first floor. 3/4” thick. Looks and feels great.
