Who doesn't want to learn?I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not but answer me this truthfully, wouldn't you agree that the root of education and it's standing in our community is not as emphasized as other races? We need to want to learn before we can take on the advanced placement classes. I'm not doubting the ability to be able to do if we put our minds to it, but we can't even do that for regular classes. That's the main issue. I keep my MBA in my mancave at the crib on the wall. I don't want my kids to look at that degree as if it is some far off dream. I want them to look at it as if it their floor, not their ceiling. That's my main argument.
Some situations are conducive to learning at a high level.
The majority of kids regardless of race want to learn and learned based on home life and community environment.
The bullshyt you're speaking about is a myth -- the myth being black people are anti academic.
fukk ur MBA if it's still kept you ignorant.
I took all AP classes and only took 1 class my senior year while i took cc classes. But that's only because i was adopted out of my hood and situation.
There are more historic and economic reasons for the current black situation --- blacks didn't randomly chose one day to filter into the areas with the least amount of resources, to put stigmas on our own backs, and to socially and economically disenfranchise ourselves.
All of that is against the majority of blacks....... We have ignorance holding us back from the hoodrats amongst us . But also from the blacks who don't fully understand the situation.
