WTH are you talking about.? Most of these schools students can't even take the books home...if anything AP math MIGHT require some T-81 calculator or some shyt. What money is required?

If the students have the grades and get the material they should be put in AP...i'm pretty sure these teachers are on some "Don't think they can handle the pressure" type of shyt. Also parents need to be more involved in school. I was raised by a single mother,as alot of black people are....my mom pretty much just sent my ass to school. All she was concerned with was

"Is he acting up?"
"Is he failing".

Parents need to be on the ball game, otherwise you'll have a kid in Junior year in some bs classes when they should be taking the classes that are required toget into college.

have to agree with this, was in a majority black/latino school and there were just 2 black people in my AP classes from 10th-12th grade

Ok, I hate to be the one to say it but half of us can't even read and we are expecting placement in these AP classes? The fukking parents of these kids need AP classes on how to get your child to give a shyt in school. Don't just look at the problem, look at hte root of the problem and how education is de-emphasized in many arenas of black life.
